Consider the following:
Going to googlegroups advanced search and putting in in the author
name with no restriction as to group or date yields the following:
http://tinyurl.com/5tf6pu
Doing a "View Profile" shows this:
tinyurl.com/5zf9vw">http://tinyurl.com/5zf9vw
All of the messages are "apparently" posted through teranews, with the
first four showing teranews in the MID. After that, Path: shows
teranews but the MID shows @127.0.0.1.
This nym, with absolutely no Usenet history, has posted only to ACF
and has been quite prolific in the less than 11 days since the first
appearance here. The nym has not written a single post about anything
to do with freeware. In fact, every single post has been related in
some way to the interaction of BB (or HB or MH) with others in ACF.
Now call me a skeptic, but I find it hard to believe that someone with
no Usenet history at all would know the difference between teranews
and a tea towel, or would know what a MID is much less try to modify
it. Further, what DREW this nym to ACF in the first place, if the nym
had no apparent interest in posting about freeware?
Further, this troll has unknowingly revealed it has knowledge of
events and histories relative to things that haven't been referred to
in anything posted since its arrival.
And why the obsession on a single topic? What's the motivation?
What's the payoff? Two days ago in an apparenr exit message,
Message-ID: <9B02A29D3A69A6AD265@xxxxxxxxx> it said "It now seems like
time for me to stop posting and go" but it has since posted an
additional six messages in the last 16 hours as this is being written,
again on the same topic.
We're being gsmed by a troll or someone with an agenda to promote who
is flying under false colors. Personally it looks to me like both. To
that I would also add that the author is a sniveling coward who
doesn't have the guts to step forward, explain itself, and accept
responsibility for its own words.
